Pusha-T - WRATH OF CAINE (Mixtape)

We're a few months away from Pusha's latest solo album 'My Name Is My Name', which is without a doubt one of 2013's most anticipated albums. Him and Kanye are cooking up some serious shit. I regard Pusha as one of the most self-sufficient artists in the game right now- he may be under G.O.O.D. Music but the man doesn't need any help. Blocka is a large enough song to release completely on its fucking own... that track 10 times in a row wouldn't grow old...

People forget he's been around since early 2000's- Clipse/The Neptunes used to be fresh to death. He has a track presence these days that's very 'A-List' in the rap game... people just listen cause it's him. So I guess it's hard to completely fuck it up.

Wrath Of Caine is exactly what street music should sound like- Push always has that sophisticated stature that sets him apart from any other trap rappers. No amateur efforts here... Chief Keef- take notes. Production is polished enough for a major label release, all tracks are tight. The right number of tracks aswell- it doesn't drag on. So pop this into your car and feel the Wrath Of Caine...

K. Roosevelt- RoseGold (Free-P)

Kueezy brought this to my attention, I've been playing this heaps over the past couple weeks. Really big fan. Turns out I'd heard him already though on Game's album- It's cool when you discover an artist already exists in your library on other artist's tracks. K. Roosevelt is apart of Hit-Boy's (producer of Niggas In Paris) label HS87, who are dropping some formidable production. Hit-Boy's rapping may need a bit of work.. but Audio Push and K. Roosevelt have made a solid mark in the current underground/niche market.

This EP is effortless listening, good for any occasion- no complex tripped out beats or incomprehensible conscious lyrics- just solid RnB. A little Omarion-like. Mibbs from Pac-Div and Hit-Boy make appearances.
