WZRD (KiD CuDi x Dot Da Genius) – Brake

First release from Kid Cudi and his new rock project... WZRD. Doesn't really sound much different, I don't mind it, still very spacely like alot of MOTM 2. No doubt there will be mixed reviews, lets hope its more successful than Lil Wayne's rock stint.

Kendrick Lamar – Rigamortis (rmx) feat. Busta Rhymes

Oh Yes.

One Room

If you thought The Weeknd was a mystery, this is next level. A really shit tumblr, 15-odd tweets and 2 songs on soundcloud is all that is known about 'One Room' or whatever it is. And this blurb:

One Room was born in the Lower East Side. Everyone knows him but no one ever sees him. People say he grew up listening to static on his radio and eating mix tapes. When he was 10 he taught himself to play piano. They say he speaks every language and never sleeps. They say the music was inspired by cold winters and hot summers. They say it took him 20 years to make this music. They say it doesn’t sound like anything else. They say it was made in One Room.

Anyway, One Room has this excessively minimalistic, premature Illangelo/The Weeknd type of sound with one of the weirdest/indiest videos I've ever seen to go with it. I'm not entirely sure what to think of it just yet...

An epic guitar you have there Luke Pritchard.

Drake: TAKE CARE (Album Stream/Review)

Thought I'd chuck up five songs off the album that everyone should listen to. 5 songs doesn't do anywhere near justice, you should really listen to the whole thing start to finish!!!!

Drake- Shot For Me (prod. by 40)
Wait till the beat drops. Out of nowhere. You'll love it. Pretty interesting lyrics. Classic 40 production (you'll here alot more of that).

Drake (feat. The Weeknd)- Crew Love (prod. by Illangelo, 40, The Weeknd)
Love this triphop/trance stuff. The Weeknd helped out on three other tracks in the album.

Drake - Marvins Room / Buried Alive (Interlude) (Feat. Kendrick Lamar) (prod. by 40, Supa Dups)
Kendrick's verse is something from another planet, and Marvins Room is one of the standouts on the album.

Drake- The Real Her (feat. Lil Wayne and Andre 3000)(prod. by 40, Drake)
Try decoding Andre 3000's verse...

Drake- The Ride (prod. by Doc McKinney, The Weeknd)
Some of the best lyrics off the album. Final track on the album, excluding deluxe tracks.

Extra: Drake- Look What Youve Done (Chase N. Cashe, 40)
I put this one up cause it has a real unique sample. It samples rehearsal footage of the late songwriter-producer Stephen “Static/Major” Garrett, as he works out “If U Scared, Say U Scared,”. This was the guy who featured in Lil Wayne's 'Lollipop', but passed away a couple weeks before Lollipop was released and went number one across the world. This is 40, the executive producer's favourite track off the album. Easily the most heartfelt song I'd imagine in Drake's eyes. Read more here from Sean Fennessey, an editor at GQ Magazine.

Overall, a more-than-impressive full-length LP which truly takes you on a trip into what goes on in Drake's head. At times towards the end he may lose our attention with the constant stripper banter ('Cameras', 'Practice'), but his brutal honesty in every track is what sets him apart from the large majority of artists out at the moment. Next, lets look forward to what his counterparts in OVOXO have for us, no doubt Drake will be hoping to create his own little click in the industry with the likes of ASAP Rocky, The Weeknd and Kendrick Lamar and his right hand man Noah '40' Shebib.

Ludacris – What U Smokin’ On (feat. Wiz Khalifa) (prod. Big K.R.I.T.)
Shit lyrics, but Big K.R.I.T comes through with the beat.

Mike Posner – Hey Lady (feat. Twista)
More keen on hearing these Pharrell Williams beats.
Hey Lady featuring Twista (prod. by Mike Posner) by mikeposner

B.o.B.- 5 On the Kush (feat. Big K.R.I.T. and Bun B)
This one's worth a download.

ScHoolboy Q – My Hatin’ Joint

TDE. It's all good music.

Rihanna (feat. JAY-Z) - Talk That Talk

Jesus Christ this is catchy. I love how they call her "recording artist" and not singer/songwriter. I wonder how much imput she has in her album, judging by the production credits not as much as I thought, Ester Dean and P Diddy wrote this song. Maybe why she's become such a sex symbol gradually over the years? Thats where the money's at!! Regardless, she is amazing at what she does, and judging by the producers on her newest album coming Wednesday, It'll be fucking good and she'll clean up once again. Or should I say Ester Dean and StarGate will. Oh, and Jigga does what he does best.

KiD CuDi - Rap Hard (NEW Mixtape)

So this is for the real fans. 2000-2001 era CuDi. Vintage shit. The man himself released this throwback demo mixtape to keep us at bay for a little bit longer. Who knows what he has in store for us next year.....

Coldplay - LIVE on SNL

Everytime I hear Coldplay live I become speechless. Always 100% genuine music. Not to mention their epic fashion sense for a bunch of 30-odd year olds. Performs 'Paradise' and 'Every Teardrop is a Waterfall'

John West (feat. Big Sean) - Already There

This will appeal to most people. The man is a very talented RnB artist. Be sure to check it out.

PREVIOUS: John West (feat. Pusha T)- Lovely

Pusha T: Fear of God II: Let Us Pray (Album)

Hopefully most have listened to Pusha Ton's album by now, but if not here's a few tracks to change your mind. Killer album, raw, brash, street as all hell. Push takes it to another level throughout, especially in terms of coke boasting. I wonder where most of his income really comes from.

Pusha T (feat. Diddy) - Changing of The Guards

Pusha T (feat. Kanye West and Jeezy)- Amen (highlight off the album)

Pusha T (feat. Kevin Cossom)- Feelin Myself

Pusha T- My God

The rest of the album can be streamed HEREEEEEEEEEEE

The Roots- undun (Album out DECEMBER 6)

Thought I'd throw some stuff up about the new Roots album, I think alot of us (definitely me) haven't paid much attention to them with all the other huge releases over the past month...

"undun is the story of this kid who becomes a criminal, but he wasn’t born criminal. He’s not the nouveau exotic primitive bug-eyed gunrunner… he’s actually thoughtful and is neither victim nor hero. Just some kid who begins to order his world in a way that makes the most sense to him at a given moment… At the end of the day… isn’t that what we all do?"

The first two of four videos have been released for the album:

The Roots- Make My (feat. Big K.R.I.T.)

Listen to the full song here:

The Roots- Tip The Scales

Two awesome songs, album out December 6, no doubt it will be worth a listen. Make sure you do!

UPDATE: HERE ARE THE OTHER TWO VIDEOS!

Wale – Lotus Flower Bomb (featuring Miguel) LIVE (Video)

Awesome LIVE version on Jimmy Kimmel of one of my favourites off Wale's new album "Ambition"

Download Original:

Wale (feat Miguel) - Lotus Flower Bomb

Mac Miller Breaks Down BLUE SLIDE PARK Track-By-Track (Video)

Very interesting.

Meek Mill – I’m A Boss (rmx) f. T.I., Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, Birdman, Swizz Beatz & DJ Khaled

WOOOOOO!!!!!!! T.I. was MADE for this beat.... Fucking epic remix. SWIZZ adds his famous rugged touch. One of the best WEEZY verses this year...

Expect Meek Mill to overtake Wale in the forthcoming months... Wale hasn't sold out, but Meek has alot to prove. Birdman actually uses more than 15 recycled words in his 8 bars... ?? Nice effort.

"Had a couple seizures call'em minor setbacks...
Ricky Ross is back hahaa.

Drake - I'm On One Headlines (MegaMix) (feat. Rick Ross, T.I. and Phil Ade)

Two of the biggest songs this year just exploded. Lewis' latest mix, throwing Drake's 'I'm On One' and 'Headlines' together, adding a little T.I., Ricky Ross (hohh) and Phil Ade.
